Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, meaning a natural person not acting in the course of a trade or profession, you have the right to withdraw from a contract concluded via stek.ee, email or phone within 14 days without giving any reason. This right comes from the Estonian Law of Obligations Act and applies to every contract concluded at a distance.
1. Withdrawal period
- For goods (films, accessories) the 14-day period starts on the day you, or a person you named, received the goods.
- If an order is delivered in several parts, the period starts when the last part is received.
- For services (for example training) the period starts on the day the contract is concluded, that is when the order is confirmed.
2. How to withdraw
Send us a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the contract before the period ends. The easiest way is to write to info@stek.ee. You may use the model form below, but it is not mandatory.
We will confirm receipt of your statement by email. The deadline is met if you send the statement before the 14 days have passed.
3. Returning goods
- Return the goods no later than 14 days after submitting your withdrawal statement to Rehepapi tee 4, 61709 Tartu, Estonia.
- You bear the direct cost of returning the goods, unless we sent the wrong or a defective item.
- Goods may only be tried out in the way that would be allowed in a regular shop. If the value of the goods has been reduced by use beyond that, we may deduct the reduction from the refund.
4. Refund
- We refund all payments received from you, including the standard delivery cost, no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal statement.
- We use the same payment method you used (a bank link payment is refunded to the same account) unless we agree otherwise. No fee is charged for the refund.
- For goods we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof that you have sent them.
5. When the right of withdrawal does not apply
- The service (for example training) has already been fully performed with your express consent before the withdrawal period ended.
- The goods were made to your specifications, for example a film kit cut to size for a specific vehicle.
- The buyer is a legal person or a sole trader acting in the course of business. In that case returns are agreed separately.
6. Training courses
If a course starts before the 14-day period ends and you want to attend, we will ask for your consent to begin providing the service. If you withdraw after the course has started, you pay proportionally for the part already delivered. Rebooking a course to another date is always possible, just write to us.
